My Personal Style with LG
Three outfits for three different occasions. All that require little, to no maintenance at all
Last week in London saw loads of people showing off their personal style prowess at London Fashion Week. Admittedly I was only able to catch these looks through Instagram, but I have been able to get involved with LG this season by showing off my personal style for the different occasions in my life. They wanted to know my outfits for being smart on campus, exercising and a night-in. Across the board, my style is pretty basic, but I will tend to mix up materials and fits depending on where I’m going.
For my smart looks around campus it’ll be a fitted pair of trousers, a nice longsleeve and a strong coat. I think a coat can really smarten up a look and during February, it’s essential. So I’d always advise to invest wisely. Keeping to a grey tone, it’s really the flannel-material that helps give this look an edge.
When I’m exercising, style takes a backseat and I focus on choosing items that I will feel comfortable in. This normally ends up being a loose jumper with a pair of classic tracksuit bottoms.
Keeping it simple during exercise means you don’t have to worry about materials irritating you whilst you workout and also if you think ahead like me, I can quickly throw these items into the washing machine together and have them ready for the next day with no hassle.
And when I choose not to exercise - which I’m guilty of doing a lot - a night-in is something is something I enjoy far too much. When I stay in at home I’ll often wear some sort of knitwear, whether than be a sweatshirt or rollneck, and then pair it with some comfortable jeans. This rollneck is one of my favourite pieces and with it being wool, I’ll air it out as much as possible before washing it on a wool cycle.
These are my three outfits for university, beach runs and nights in, with a couple of washing tips along the way. How are you keeping your clothes looking crisp?
