Hook LDN
Finishing work for the day and taking a trip down to the beach with Hook LDN
It might be a little cooler in the air and getting darker earlier, but that doesn’t mean you won’t be in need of a pair of sunglasses on occasion. You’ll find me taking every opportunity to wear sunglasses, meaning shooting off from a lecture and heading to the beach, even in October.
If you follow me on Instagram you may know this already, but for those of who don’t, I’m really excited to say that I’ve partnered up with eyewear brand Hook LDN for the next few months to showcase both their sunglasses and optics range.
When people ask me what my style is, I often find myself telling people that it’s mainly high street based and kept simple, but when a British brand creates premium eyewear products at an attainable in price, it kind of makes my ears prick up and take note.
Aiming their products at young people like myself, they are creating eyewear with desirable frames and materials. There are four styles of optics and four styles of sunglasses, all with their own shape and distinct look.
Everyone has a different shaped head, meaning everyone has a frame to suit their shape. I’ve opted for the parklife and rhapsody styles. Since my previous post on eyewear as a fashion accessory, I’ve had quite a few people start up conversations around eyewear and the do’s and don’ts, but I think the main thing is confidence.
You’ll be able to find a new photo of me wearing Hook LDN on my Instagram page every month. It's my first social media collaboration with a brand and I’m flattered they want me to show you guys. If you don’t follow me on Instagram already, now would be a great time to do so!
Could 2023 be the ultimate year of sustainability for fashion? Probably not, but there are some positive things happening if you look for them.
