Weekend in Bath
There are always times when you become so busy with life you just need a break.
For me, it was the amount of university work I was doing. Coursework, dissertation and being in university all week relentlessly meant I was just becoming overwhelmed with everything. I felt like I wanted to have something to look forward to for when that bulk of work was 'finished'. I say finished like that because dissertation is never finished, as I’m sure some of you will know.
Bath was always a place I wanted to visit, but I never had an excuse to go. But then I thought why do I need an excuse? It’s less than a couple hours away and I was going to be free at the weekend. So when Friday came around we (being myself and Em) went to Bath and had booked the nicest Airbnb just outside the city centre. I’m talking Scandinavian design with wooden floors, log burner and a record player. It was
our home until Sunday and I loved being able to go somewhere where there was no Internet (unintentional but a blessing) and just relaxing. You should seriously go check this place out.
We spent a lot of time going to cool stores and drinking a lot of coffee, but I’ll get to that in my Bath photo diary soon. I felt so much better going away for a few days and when it was the start of a new week I felt quite motivated.
The next few months right up until I finish university is going to be a busy one, so I may not be posting as much. That doesn’t mean I’ve not got anything coming up, but I can’t wait to focus more on the blog again once I’m free and say goodbye to my dissertation! Thank you once again for reading, it would be cool for you to comment if you read at my blog regularly, just so I can say thank you properly. Until next time.
Could 2023 be the ultimate year of sustainability for fashion? Probably not, but there are some positive things happening if you look for them.
