Weekend Walks in the New Forest
Although summer has been and gone, if there's one thing about autumn I like, it's the colours
Yes, autumn can bring with it some pretty horrid weather, but the other weekend I grabbed my camera and took a short trip to the New Forest where it was dry and everything had that autumn crunch.
Studying in Bournemouth, it’s sometimes quite easy to fall into a routine of going into university, sitting behind my desk and not really visiting anywhere else, so whilst I had some time spare it made sense to go.
It’s nice to go somewhere and kind of forget about everything, have no signal – although I did find myself trying to refresh my Instagram feed with no luck – and just chill. I think because I always find myself quite busy, it’s quite strange to just switch off and do nothing. I think I’m going try and take some time out whenever I’m on top off work and fit in a day of not doing anything and just appreciate being able to go to places like the New Forest.
Could 2023 be the ultimate year of sustainability for fashion? Probably not, but there are some positive things happening if you look for them.
